2014 January – 2017 December: Technical Manager at the Global Alliance on Livestock Veterinary Medicine, (GALVmed). Covering GALVmed Market development and access for livestock vaccines in Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Mozambique, Malawi, Democratic republic of Congo, Rwanda, Burundi and South Sudan
Responsibilities:
- Spearheading and coordinating market development and access for livestock vaccines.
- Training & capacity building of veterinarians, farmers, Monitoring and evaluation of vaccine adoption, publicity of the organization and the livestock vaccines, networking at the grass-root level, managing the local and cross border stakeholders
- Planning, budget management and implementation of the market development and access projects.

- Capacity building and strengthening the laboratory research component of the African union Centre for Ticks and Tick borne disease (CTTBD), Lilongwe Malawi.
- Improving the quality control component of the vaccine production process, developing and reviewing SOPs, making sure CTTBD lab is GMP certified, engaging consultants in validation of the laboratory equipment’s at the Centre for tick and tick borne disease, Malawi.
- Coordinating the sero-surveillance, genetic characterization of the Theileria parva isolates and offering technical expertise in ECF diseases studies in Mozambique, DRC, Zambia, Malawi and South Sudan
- Representing GALVmed at the ECF consortium led by International Livestock Research Institute (ILRI) and includes the Roslin Institute, Edinburg, Washington state university, London School of tropical Health, CTTBD for a Bill and Melinda Gates foundations funding.
- Representing GALVmed at the vaccines regulatory forum.
- Planning, budget management and implementation of the East Coast Fever-Infection & Treatment Method vaccination projects.

- Development of a thermostable Peste des petit ruminant viral vaccine (PPR),
- Undertake the lyophilization of PPR vaccine using lyophilisation.
- Participate in the production of PPR vaccine using anhydrobiotic approaches such as the Xerovac process

- To advice Terra Nouva East Africa, Nairobi on the capacity building needs and priorities of Sheikh Technical Veterinary School and reference centre, Somaliland
- Research lead on the improvements of animal diseases (Tick & Tick borne diseases) surveillance & diagnosis within the reference centre.
